Real-data Solar System explorer
A solemn, interactive 3D map of the Solar System showing the eight planets and their major moons at their real current positions, computed live from orbital ephemerides — in true scale and magnified views. The start of a definitive interactive reference for space-game physics.
It shows the eight planets and 20 major moons at their live positions, computed in-browser from orbital ephemerides, against roughly 120,000 real stars from the HYG catalogue. You can fly between bodies, switch between true scale and a magnified view, and compare each body's mass, radius, and surface gravity to Earth. Interactive 3D graphics require a WebGL- or WebGPU-capable browser.
